This is a quick and easy spin column method for isolation of genomic DNA from bacteria. No phenol, chloroform, or other hazardous organic solutions are required. The isolated DNA is of excellent quality for many molecular biology applications, such as PCR, restriction digestion, and other downstream applications. The kit contains all necessary tubes for the complete experiment in isolation of genomic DNA. Mini and Maxi preparation kits are available. The Mini Kit can process small samples of 200 μl - 2 ml and the Maxi Kit can process bacteria from 5-50ml of overnight culture.
