What is special for our tips?
A calibrated pipettor can be 99%
accurate and precise, but tips can compromise accuracy and precision by binding
sample. Low binding tips improve accuracy and precision by utilizing Bonded
Polymer Technology to bond a proprietary polymer resin. This advanced process
creates a hydrophobic surface that reduces the surface tension of the interior
wall of the pipette tip, resulting in minimal sample binding. No additives such
as silicone are used, so no leaching and subsequent sample degradation occurs.
The chemically resistant polymer cannot be removed with common laboratory
solvents such as chloroform or cloroethene. All products are certified RNase/Dnase-free
and non-pyrogenic.

Pipette Tips
Our
tips provide you with complete protection from sample carry over. These tips
incorporate a robotically inserted patented filter that is made from high
molecular weight polyethylene. The filters allow the pipettor to draw by venting
through a tortuous sponge-like pathway. The pores in this pathway have an average size
of 10 microns so even radionucleotides are captured before reaching the pipettor
barrel.
